Kristin Tweedale (aka rukristin: Feminist Scrapbooker) is a scrapbooker, teacher, writer, community organizer, and podcaster. She has been scrapbooking personally and professionally for over fifteen years, and more than anything she believes that telling your story is a radical feminist act.
Through pictures, papers, and the bits of life she finds along the way, rukristin creates beautiful and unique scrapbook albums that represent the stories of her life as well as the memories, feelings, and emotions of who she is right now.
She is the founder of The Awesome Ladies Project, a scrapbooking community membership site that helps women learn how to tell the stories of their lives through the creative art of feminist scrapbooking. No matter what your life looks like, your stories deserve to be told, and rukristin wants to help you tell them, in a way that feels completely and uniquely you.
She is also the co-host of the popular crafting lifestyle podcast Crafty Ass Female with over 400K downloads and guests like Lisa Congdon, Austin Kleon, Ali Edwards, and more. Listen to new episodes every Monday morning wherever you download your favorite podcasts, including Spotify!
rukristin currently lives in East Lansing, Michigan with her partner Jeff where they raise heirloom tomatoes, peppers, and a bunch of other yummy things in their ever-expanding garden. She is originally from North Jersey (right outside NYC), home to most of her family, the only decent pizza, and her NY football Giants.
